"Heavenly Comfort" Leisure Tops

I decided to develop a shirt that would make life a little easier for the clergy who now spend an increasing amount of their time in activities outside the church building in inner city work or in foreign missions.

The successful conclusion of this development was a knit mock-turtle shirt. The black body is made is made of a interlock fabric from fine (36/1 c.c.) cotton or polyester/cotton yarn. This body fabric is soft and follows the movements of the upper body. The white stretchy collar fabric is from cotton or polyester/cotton.

Two styles of shirts are available, Type "O" which has a full round white collar and Type "I" which has a only small (1 1/2") insert of white at the center front of a black collar.

The fabrics are colored with dyes of high wash- and light-fastness, so there is little, if any, loss of color or transfer of color from the black to the white when the shirts are washed under the suggested conditions. Also, the shirts have low shrinkage and require no ironing.

Both basic shirt types (Type "O" and Type "I") are priced at $18.95

Both types of shirts are available in four sizes (M 36-41 in.), (L 42-44 in.), (XL 46-48 in.), and (2XL 50-52 in.). There is an added charge of $2.00 for the 2XL size.

Short sleeves are standard with an added charge of $2.00 for long sleeves.
